It is the end of an age. After a bit over 9 years, I will be resigning from my employer tomorrow morning. It's not going to be easy. No severance other than the 2 week notice period where I don't have to actually report top the office. Of course, I have almost a month of vacation time (PTO) that will be paid with my last check.

No, I don't have another job yet, but I don't anticipate any real problems making my bills ... for 6 months at least.

Know anyone that needs an IT engineer with 22 years of experience?

I'm so confident that I will get new work, I'm buying a $18k travel trailer for my hunting / camping pleasure.

A bit scary.

Looking forward to my wedding. I don't think I've been in love this way for 28+ years  ... still can't land on a best man though.
